About Us

South Ayrshire School Clothing Bank is a small local charity run by volunteers. It was established in 2015 by Nicola Cramond and became a registered charity in 2017. Our mission is to promote pride, dignity, and self-esteem in children from families experiencing financial hardship by providing school uniform and other essentials for the school day.

With the generosity of local people, businesses, and community leaders, we’ve supported thousands of children across South Ayrshire and continue to grow year on year.

Founder’s Message

When I founded South Ayrshire School Clothing Bank in 2015, my goal was simple — to ensure that no child in our community should feel different, excluded, or embarrassed because of what they wear to school. Thanks to the kindness of volunteers and supporters, we’ve been able to help thousands of children walk into school with confidence and dignity.
