Volunteer Week 2026 This week we’re celebrating the incredible volunteers who keep South Ayrshire School Clothing Bank running.
Most people don’t see what goes on behind the scenes. The sorting, stock checking, packing, lifting, collecting, delivering and problem-solving that happens every day to make sure children get exactly what they need.
They also don’t see the regular supermarket collection runs when we need to buy items we don’t have in stock. Safe to say Ayr Asda’s Click & Collect team know us fairly well by now.

This year alone we’ve supported more than 450 children and young people across South Ayrshire, making sure they have the uniforms, shoes, jackets and PE kit they need for school.

Every bag packed, every collection made and every delivery completed helps make that happen.
Quite simply, we couldn’t do it without our volunteers.
